About me

Chris Bick is a first-year PhD student at the LSE’s European Institute and International Inequalities Institute. His research focuses on the interaction between financialisation, inequality and party politics across the European Union. His interests include international and comparative political economy, financialisation, varieties of capitalism and the relationship between capitalism and democracy.   

Chris holds an MA in the History of Capitalism from the New School for Social Research as well as a BA in Anthropology and International Development from Washington University in St. Louis. He recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Economics at Birkbeck, University on London.
