Valentina is an economist in the OECD’s Employability Division, where she works on the design and evaluation of activation and employment policies. Her work focuses on improving labour market outcomes and providing equal opportunities to vulnerable groups. Before joining the OECD, Valentina was a researcher at the International Inequalities Institute, where she coordinated the Latin American and Caribbean Inequality Review and studied the causes and consequences of gender and educational inequalities. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MRes in Economics from University College London.
