Dr Soham Sahoo is a Visiting Fellow at the III and an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. Soham holds a PhD in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics, University of Goettingen, Germany. He is also affiliated as a Research Fellow with the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), Bonn, and has held visiting positions at the Centre for Modern Indian Studies, University of Goettingen and Institute for Employment Research, University of Warwick.
Soham’s research interests are in development economics, focusing on education, gender, labour, and political economy. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Demography, and World Development.
