Pedro Salas is a Research Officer at the International Inequalities Institute working with the research theme Opportunity, Mobility and Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality. His research focuses on the intergenerational transmission of wealth and income inequalities. He is interested in applying computing techniques, especially those related to Machine Learning algorithms, to delve into the causes and drivers of long-lasting inequalities.
Pedro received his PhD in Economics from Complutense University in 2022. Previously, he graduated in Economics at the University of Málaga, and holds a double Msc in Economic Development and Growth issued by Carlos III University and Lund University.
