About me

Fabian Reutzel is a PhD student at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and member of the research theme Opportunity, Mobility and Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality. He is visiting the International Inequalities Institute at the LSE through the European Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Economics (EDP). He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Mannheim and a Joint MSc in Economic Research from Bocconi University and UCLouvain as well as a MSc in Public Policy and Development from PSE.  Through his research assistantships at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank and the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW),  he gained experience in the measurement of Inequality of Opportunity in different geographical regions with varying data structures. His main research focus lies in the areas of Labor Economics and Inequality of Opportunity, especially in tracing changes in social mobility patterns and uncovering their determinants.
