Anastasia is the Projects Manager for the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme. She is responsible for managing the key stages of project cycles from setup through to the completion and closure of various AFSEE projects, including the Academic-Practitioner Collaborations (AcPrac) and the Atlantic Equity Challenge (AEQ).

Anastasia has more than 10 years of professional experience of project administration in the public sector. She worked as a programme and project officer for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in the British Embassy in Moscow. Anastasia worked on a number of UK-funded programmes – International Programme, CSSF (Conflict, Stability and Security Fund), Conflict Prevention Pool, Global Britain Fund, and Global Opportunities Fund. During those years she worked on projects in different areas - women empowerment, preventing violent extremism, defending human rights, education and cultural exchanges and tackling climate change.

For about 4 years Anastasia was a sole project officer responsible for FCDO-funded Counter/Preventing Violent Extremism Programme in one of the most vulnerable regions in Russia – the North Caucuses. Examples of projects she worked on are Preventing Violent Extremism among youth in the North Caucasus and Psychological support to women and children returned from conflict-affected areas.

Anastasia has a master degree in Sociology and Social Psychology, which she obtained from Ulyanovsk State University in Russia. After graduation she spent some time in Germany studying German.
