Kuwaitscapes: Can card games help urban planning?

Games are a great way to communicate urban research to wider audiences, and a fun means of engaging in public participation while designing and teaching.

Alexandra Gomes with LSE Cities and LSE Middle East Centre will introduce 'Kuwaitscapes' a card game based on a collaborative research project with Kuwait University and funded by the Kuwait Programme. The game addresses some of the challenges and opportunities facing Kuwait’s residential neighbourhoods and everyday use of public space.

To find out more about the project, and the team behind it, or have a go at playing the game visit the LSE Research Showcase: here

WHEN: Tuesday 5 October, 11:00-11:30am
REGISTER: Free on campus event for the LSE community
