LSE offers advice to teachers, counsellors and advisers on all aspects of the admissions process and studying at LSE

  • The LSE Library offers 'Exploring the Archives' workshops. In this 90-minute session, students will discover what an archive is, what an archivist does, and how to analyse primary sources. Students will develop research skills by analysing primary sources from the LSE archives, focusing on reform and records of social and political history from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.   • UAT-UK Admissions Tests Teachers and Advisers' Webinars - Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 May 2026. UAT-UK are hosting two webinars covering university admissions tests including the ESAT and TMUA, and how teachers and advisers can support students who are making applications for 2027 entry (or deferred 2028 entry). The webinars are identical, so you only need to attend one. You can sign up here.
  • World Class Study in London Conference - Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June 2026. This conference gives UK and international teachers and counsellors the opportunity to meet representatives from four of London’s world class universities: Imperial College London, King’s College London, LSE and UCL. Applications are now closed for 2026 - stay tuned for the next Conference!
  • Advancing Access for teachers and advisers. Advancing Access provide a variety of CPD resources, online events and conferences for teachers and advisers to help them support students’ progression to leading universities.
