External Engagement and Communications Officer

We have the new and exciting position of External Engagement and Communications Officer available in the Department of Statistics. We are seeking an ambitious and skilled External Engagement and Communications Officer to join our new communications team, situated within the Department’s growing, and friendly, professional services team. As the External Engagement and Communications Officer, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in our mission to raise the profile of the Department’s work among audiences old and new, close to home and far afield.

LSE Fellows in Statistics x 2

We have two LSE Fellow positions available in the Department of Statistics. These posts also permit time for research, and the post-holders will be expected to contribute to the research culture and intellectual life of the department in their areas of specialization. Successful candidates will have a developing, high-quality research record, a well-developed strategy for future research, excellent communication skills, and be able to provide effective mentoring and support to students. Candidates will have, or be very near completion of, a PhD in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field by the start date of the post.
