LSE is home to varied and fascinating research related to, or concerned with, music across different academic and professional services units.
The LSE Music Research Network (MRN) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers from across LSE who are working on or interested in social scientific perspectives on music.
As well as encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration, MRN aims to be a platform for bringing together this diverse group, engaging them with one another and communicating their music-related research within and outside LSE.
Starting in Autumn Term 2026, MRN will host regular meetings and curate events. Staff and students from other HE institutions in the United Kingdom are welcome to attend MRN events.
The first such initiative at LSE, the MRN is hosted by LSE South Asia Centre.
For more information, to join the Network (LSE staff only) or to join the Events mailing list (open to everyone), please write to Dr Thomas Graves at T.Graves@lse.ac.uk
