About me

Daniel is an LSE Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Logic & Scientific Method. He teaches and conducts research in moral and political philosophy. Currently, Daniel is thinking about moral claims with regard to land and space and the justification of the exclusive rights states claim over their territories. He is also interested generally in the ways in which considerations of feasibility interact with moral justifications for the state's use of force. Areas of interest more broadly include culture, state legitimacy, political obligation, property rights and anarchism.

Previously, Daniel has worked in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, the University of Chicago Law School, and the philosophy and EISPS departments at University College London. He completed his PhD in political philosophy also at UCL.
