Eugenia Nazrullaeva is an LSE fellow in Political Science and Public Policy. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles (2020) and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow (2010). 

Eugenia’s research interests are in the areas of historical political economy and economic history. In her current projects, she studies discrimination and incorporation in the late Imperial Russia, voter intimidation in Imperial and contemporary Russia, and the use of threats by the state to modify individual behaviour in Soviet Lithuania.
