đź‘‹ We’re excited to welcome you to the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method! Monday 22 September 2025, marks the beginning of the Welcome Week at LSE – and our Department. During this week, you’ll get the chance to meet the faculty members, our service staff and get to know one another. It’s a great opportunity to get a taste of life at LSE before the serious (philosophical) work begins.

To help you getting started, we’ve produced introductory videos for each of our courses,. The videos will help you find out about your teachers and the course content which will then help you make the right choices for your course selection.
