We’re very pleased to announce that Liam Kofi Bright has been awarded a prestigious Philip Leverhulme Prize.

The Philip Leverhulme Prizes are awarded annually by the Leverhulme Trust to early career researchers whose work has had international impact and whose future research career is exceptionally promising. The prizes are intended to help fund the recipients’ future research projects.

Liam Kofi Bright is an Assistant Professor in the Department specialising in the philosophy of science, social epistemology and Africana philosophy. He intends to use his prize money to help develop ideas about relating Africana philosophy to mathematical social epistemology of science.
