PhD student, Katherine Furman, will be taking up a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Durham University’s Philosophy Department in October.

Katherine Furman is a final year student on our MPhil/PhD programme. She’s interested in applied ethics, specifically in relation to issues in health policy, and her research focuses on HIV/AIDS denialism in South Africa.

We’re pleased to announce that, starting in October 2016, Katherine will be taking up a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the University of Durham’s Philosophy Department. In this role, Katherine will be working on the Department’s “Knowledge for Use” project, studying how best to translate social science research into policy developments.

Congratulations Katherine!
