Zeynep is a pre-doctoral research assistant, working under Michael Callen and Adnan Khan.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, development economics, and economic history, centring on how political institutions form, persist and function. Zeynep holds a BA in Economics from Bilkent University and an MSc in Economics from the Paris School of Economics. Before joining LSE, she worked as a Research Assistant at CREST.
