Professor Peter Ramsay’s blog on how EU Membership undermines the Left, was mentioned in a Financial Times article today.
He says,
“I am at one with Lexiteers in seeking to end constitutional restraints on intervention in the economy by democratic governments. That ought to be a basic commitment of any democrat. If the people cannot control the economy they cannot control their collective life. And to exercise democratic control over the economy requires bringing the EU to an end.”
