About me

Denise is an experienced trilingual administrator who started her career as a personal assistant for the High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique. She was later a member of London Citizens UK where she supported the Lambeth and Southwark community as a Portuguese/Spanish-English interpreter. Denise has a wealth of experiences such as working in Radio with the BBC World Trust, on health campaigns targeting Africa, and worked as an interpreter for vulnerable people including cancer patients and prisoners that gave her an awareness of people's different needs.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Politics and worked 7 years at the Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust where she had different roles, such as an operating theatres porter, patient catering administrator and Human Resources administrator with the payroll team. She joined the LSE as part of the Estates Division as Front House receptionist in 2019.

Denise's life experiences and traveling gives her a modern outlook in life and remains very interested in current affairs and politics.
