Developed in partnership with LSE IDEAS, the foreign policy think tank of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Education for Victory program supports Ukrainian civil servants and military personnel in the country’s post-war reconstruction. Participants gain access to lectures from leading professors around the world, develop strategic planning skills, study current economic and security trends, and build connections with international leaders to support Ukraine’s recovery.
As part of the program, participants attend expert sessions with representatives from JP Morgan, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the UK Parliament, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UBS, and various international organizations—offering them unique, practical insights while engaging in strategic dialogue and networking to address key issues.
Following the intensive learning period, participants are invited to join the Alumni Program, designed to foster continuous learning and collaboration across cohorts. It combines online and offline lectures by LSE faculty, offering training sessions, skills development workshops, networking opportunities, strategic discussions, and roundtables.
To date, Grand Strategy UA has conducted four “Education for Victory” programs with over 100 high-level alumni, delivered 28 types of educational sessions, and engaged over 25 professors, guest lecturers, including two Nobel Laureates, and practitioners.
