Jinnah Fellowship Call for Applications 2021

LSE IDEAS is pleased to announce the Jinnah Postdoctoral Fellowship which is open to Pakistani scholars who would like to study any aspect of Pakistan’s foreign and security policy. The goal of the Fellowship is to spark meaningful conversations about Pakistan and its place in the world. It has been generously funded by Dr Saqib Qureshi, the Canadian Jaffari Muslim Foundation and other donors.

For the academic year 2020/21, the scholar will be based in Pakistan. In future years we hope the scholar will be based in London at the LSE IDEAS office.

The Fellowship is for 3 months. It will begin in Lent Term 2021 (January to April). The successful applicant will receive £3,000. At the end of that time, the Fellow will be expected to produce a scholarly paper for publication as well as deliver an online lecture.

Applicants are asked to send in a research proposal and CV to LSE IDEAS Centre Manager, Dr Emilia Knight at e.knight@lse.ac.uk. The deadline is 11.59pm on Friday 20 November.
