Post-doctoral opportunities

The Department of Geography and Environment welcomes post-doctoral and research fellows. Post-doctoral and research fellows play a significant role in the department’s research environment, taking part in research activities while establishing their careers.
We welcome applications for postdoctoral fellowships (such as from the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, EC MSCA).
Competition for these fellowships is intense and will be evaluated by the Departmental Research Committee. In order to develop the strongest possible proposal, you are advised to contact a prospective mentor in the department well in advance of the deadline to discuss your project.
How to apply
All applications must be submitted to geog.research@lse.ac.uk by the relevant internal deadline.
All enquiries should be directed to the Deputy Head of Department for Research, Prof Riccardo Crescenzi: r.crescenzi@lse.ac.uk.
