About me

Mohsen Khezri is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He obtained his PhD in Economics in 2015 and MSc in Economics in 2010 from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. Before joining LSE, he held academic appointments as an Assistant Professor at Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran, and the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), Erbil, Iraq.

His research applies advanced econometric methodologies to investigate critical issues in environmental and energy economics, intending to inform policy decisions in oil-exporting nations. He has published extensively in leading international journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy, and Energy Economics. His works provide insights on environmental sustainability, energy, natural resources, and monetary economics for oil-exporting countries.

Mohsen has developed expertise in advanced econometric techniques including Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models, Bayesian Econometrics, Time-Series Econometrics, Panel Data models, and spatial econometrics. He has also developed an econometric software application featuring 42 distinct models.
