Knowledge Beyond Boundaries - Interdisciplinary Student Research Conference

Hosted by LSE Festival: People and Change
In-person and online public event (Marshall Building)
Wednesday 14 Jun 2023 10am - 6pm

LSE’s annual interdisciplinary student research conference, is taking place this year as part of the LSE Festival on Wednesday 14 June. The conference will showcase the research of current LSE students, recent alumni, and students from our partner CIVICA universities across Europe. This year’s conference draws on the Festival theme of people and change: how does change affect people? How do people effect change?

The conference will provide a space to engage with a huge variety of student and alumni research: panel discussions, a poster gallery, performances, and keynotes, all of which highlight the importance of interdisciplinary approaches for understanding the transformations we observe in the world. The conference will focus on a number of relevant thematic areas from across the social sciences, including the opportunities and risks of technological change, the future of cities, and the impacts of shifts towards net-zero economies.
