My research focuses on (i) whether those in poverty can adapt to climate change in time, (ii) understanding the effects of electrification on development, and (iii) how energy sectors in developing countries can be made more effective. Prior to starting my PhD, I was an economist at the International Growth Centre (IGC) covering their work in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan & Jordan. I have ongoing research in Pakistan, Ghana, and South Korea.
