Raffaele is an MRes Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. Prior to joining the programme he obtained a BSc in Economics from Bocconi in 2015 and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford in 2021. He was a pre-doctoral fellow at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich's Department of Economics. His research interests are cultural economics (in particular, religion), political economy, and economic history.
