Julio is a PhD candidate in Economics at the LSE. His research interests are primarily in applied macroeconomics and IO, innovation and endogenous growth, and fiscal policy.
Previously, he was a Senior Research Specialist at the JRCPPF at Princeton University working with Professor Atif Mian. He holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, an M.S. in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, a B.A. in Economics from the University of Lyon II, and a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo.
