Julio is an MRes/PhD student in Economics at the LSE. His research interests are primarily in applied macroeconomics, innovation and endogenous growth, and fiscal and monetary policy. He is currently working on three projects: one on fiscal policy in the UK, one on demand-side IO, and finally one with Dr. Xavier Jaravel on endogenous growth.
Previously, he was a Senior Research Specialist at the JRCPPF at Princeton University working with Professor Atif Mian. He holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, an M.S. in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, a B.A. in Economics from the University of Lyon II, and a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo.
