DSI Director delivers keynote address at Data With Purpose Summit

Professor Martin Anthony, Director of the Data Science Institute, delivered a keynote address at the third edition of the NOVA IMS Data with Purpose Summit. His talk, “The Future of AI and Data Science: some social science perspectives”, set out how AI can strengthen human capability when used with care and sound judgement. Drawing on examples from public services, education and healthcare, he outlined a future in which well-governed AI supports more effective government and improves access to essential services.
