Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

The European Commission runs a competition for Postdoctoral Fellowships. These last one or two years and are designed for early-career scholars who are either:
- moving between European countries, or
- coming to Europe from a non-European country.
Applicants must have a PhD by the time of application and have no more than eight years of research experience since the data of their viva. Eligibility rules may change. Please see their website for further information.
The application deadline is usually in early September. If you wish to inquire about hosting a grant at LSE, please email the CPNSS Director, Dr Lewis Ross (Email: L.ross2@lse.ac.uk). Your email should include:
- A short CV
- A brief research proposal
- The name of a proposed mentor within LSE Philosophy.
We recommend getting in touch at least two months before the application deadline, and preferably sooner.
Please note that this scheme is competitive. We are only likely to support
candidates with a strong research record in English-language journals and in
areas that fit the research strengths of LSE Philosophy.
