Programme summary
Sponsored by Shanghai municipal government, and undertaken by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, 2023 Shanghai Summer School - Business Chinese Language and Business Culture Immersion Program enrolls overseas students who have a certain knowledge of Chinese language (HSK 4) and are interested in Chinese business culture. The program consists of business Chinese language courses, lectures on China’s financial and economic issues, business visits and practice. Students will be granted with fully-funded scholarship (covering tuition and accommodation fee) if passing the admission interview.
Please note: only students who study for the FULL four weeks are eligible for the scholarship.

Fees
Fees to be made to CIBL:

Administration fee - £60
- Tuition fee - see below
Tution fee:
- Two weeks: 3000 RMB / £360 (fee waived for eligible CLCB students)
- Four weeks: 6000 RMB / £720 (fee waived if the Shanghai goverment scholarship is successful)

Accommodation
Two participants will share a comfortable twin room in an off-campus hotel. Room amenities include:
- air conditioner
- bathroom
- telephone
- TV set
- water fountain
- internet
- bed (with pillow, sheet and quilt)
Requirements
- Non-Chinese citizen with a passport valid beyond 30th August 2023
- 18-40 years old, in good health
- Completed high school or above
- HSK 4 (scored 180 min)
