The LSE Alumni Association

Every LSE alumna and alumnus who has completed a full term of study as a registered student is a member of the LSE Alumni Association. The Association represents the interests of all LSE alumni and helps to strengthen relationships between alumni, between alumni and the School and between the School and alumni – by providing advice on alumni engagement programming, and supporting the broader objectives of LSE in engaging its international alumni community in a reciprocal relationship.

One of the most wonderful things that has come out of the Alumni Association is the global friendship it promotes.

Dr Nayantara Palchoudhuri, MPhil Government 1988

The Alumni Association is steered by the Global Alumni Board which is comprised of 12 volunteer members. They are joined on the board by four LSE staff members.

The term of office for members of the Global Alumni Board and the Regional Liaison Committee Officers is three years. New terms will begin this September, and we are now actively seeking nominations for these key volunteer roles. Note nominations close Tuesday 24 March 2026 at 11:59 PM GMT.
