About me

Francis Abonga is a researcher with Centre for Public Authority and International Development (CPAID), he holds a BA in Business Administration and Finance from Gulu University.

He has worked on a number of research projects since 2012, including the two major research projects; The Land Conflict Mapping Tool for the Acholi Sub-Region (UN Peace building Fund of the Human Right Focus) headed by Julian Hopwood and the other is joint Acholi sub-regional Leaders Forum Customary land survey with (Trocaire/Democratic Governance Facility). He is a trainer on fieldwork courses run by Ghent University on ethnographic data and complex data entry analysis. Francis has also worked as a professional footballer having plied his trade in Uganda, Zimbabwe, Nepal and Vietnam. Follow him on this link @Aloh Francis on twitter and facebook.
