Lunch and Learn seminars
FLIA and The Centre for Women, Peace and Security host a weekly seminar series to showcase the work of LSE scholars working on Africa or issues affecting the continent.
The seminars are open to all staff and Master's students from across LSE. The events are hybrid and you are welcome to attend in person or via Zoom.
The next seminar will feature Elisa Gambino, Lecturer in Globalisation, Trade and Development, Global Development Institute, University of Manchester, UK who will present on " Chinese traders and manufacturers in Ghana: Spatial Distribution, Sectoral Composition, and Industrial Clusters”. It will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 1:00-2:00 pm.
Previous seminars featured various experts such as Prof Tim Allen, Dr Karen Smith, Dr Kevin Watkins, Ms Sherizaan Minwalla, Dr George Bryne, Maël Lavenaire, Ms Oksana Potopova, Dr Will Mcinnery, Louise Arimatsu, as well as Deputy Head of the IMF's Africa, Catherine Pattillo, among others.
