About me

Christine is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Statistics and is currently the lecturer of Programming for Data Science (ST101) and Managing and Visualising Data (ST115). She has been teaching for the Department of Statistics on a wide range of courses since 2016, including being a teaching assistant for Managing and Visualising Data (ST445) and Distributed Computing for Big Data (ST446).  

Christine studied an MSc in Statistics in 2015-16 at LSE and completed her PhD in Statistics at LSE in 2021. Her research interests are high-dimensional variable selection and time series classification. Prior to her graduate study at LSE, Christine worked in an algorithmic trading company in Hong Kong. She worked on building a C++ simulation platform, implemented trading strategies and backtested strategies using historical data and an in-house interactive simulation market.
