Christine is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Statistics and is currently the lecturer of Programming for Data Science (ST101). She has been teaching for the Department of Statistics on a wide range of courses since 2016, including being a teaching assistant for Managing and Visualizing Data (ST445) and Distributed Computing for Big Data (ST446).
Christine received her MSc in Statistics from LSE and is currently completing her PhD in Statistics. Her research interests are high-dimensional variable selection and time series classification. Prior to her graduate study at LSE, Christine worked in an algorithmic trading company in Hong Kong. She worked on building C++ simulation platform, implemented trading strategies and backtested the strategies using historical data and the in-house interactive simulation market.
