Research has recently identified issues with the regulation and policing of live music events – including discriminatory policing of genres like grime and drill. This project seeks to understand how the complex system of live music regulation operates – who is involved, how do they make their decisions and what are they attempting to regulate, and more. It is hoped this will shape the world by helping tackle discriminatory practices.

Further though, this project may offer insight into today's policing and regulatory landscape.
