More than 1 billion people live with mental disorders. Three out of four live in low and middle-income countries where mental disorders fail to attract enough resources. In the context of increasing economic pressure, external actors could unlock additional funds. Coordinated global efforts underpinned by a sustainable and ethical approach is not only a health imperative but a moral imperative. Now, it’s time to invest in global mental health!
