Global Survey #02 | Localising Transport | Urban Age

Survey Summary: Localising Transport, September 2021

This summary report presents the findings of a global survey on ‘Localising Transport’ in cities. The survey, conducted between May 2021 and June 2021, invited urban thinkers, leaders, and practitioners across the world to share their perspectives on urban transport and mobility in cities today and over the next few decades.

The survey is part of the Urban Age Debates: Cities in the 2020s outreach programme organised by LSE Cities and the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft. Initial insights from the survey informed the third debate on ‘Localising Transport:  towards the 15-minute city or the one-hour metropolis?’
