Josefa is the Project Manager of the Santiago Urban Age Task Force, a strategic advice, policy implementation and capacity-building project with the Santiago Regional Government.

She has held advisory positions within the Chilean Government collaborating with national, regional and local governments in the implementation of projects and programmes in the areas of housing, environment, education and health.

Her educational background includes a MSc in Public Policy from the LSE, and a BA in Social Communication and Journalism from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile.
