Imogen is the Programme Manager of the European Cities Programme, a research, engagement and capacity-building initiative focused on the future of European cities. 

An urban anthropologist, Imogen spent the past four years mainly as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban Studies and lecturer in the Anthropology Department at the University of Amsterdam. Her anthropological research has been on city governance, the new municipalist movement and urban commoning in Europe, particularly in Paris and Amsterdam.

Previously, she worked for two years on London urban policy. She holds an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
