Governing Infrastructure Interfaces - Research Note 03 (September 2018)

Urban Infrastructure in Political Science and Public Administration summarises the literature on urban infrastructure and its associated services. It defines infrastructure “provision” and “production,” as well as reviews relevant literature in the fields of public management, administration, and political science. This short research note is part of the larger research initiative, Governing Infrastructure Interfaces, which focuses on transport and sanitation infrastructure in Ethiopia’s two largest cities to investigate the relationship between development goals and the contribution made by new infrastructure.
