Rerum Causae is the journal of the LSE Student Union Philosophy Society. Now in its fourth year, the journal brings together all the philosophy going on around the LSE. The journal is open to submissions from any student, undergraduate or postgraduate, regardless of degree and discipline, and therefore serves to show case all of the philosophical writing students at LSE produce. We feel it is especially important within a Philosophy department internationally recognised for its research that students should be seen as thinking about, and contributing to, the issues that concern members of the faculty. Rerum Causae offers them the opportunity to do so and publicises their contributions. The first three editions have been a success, and the 2007 edition was sent to over 100 departments around the world.
