Dr Margot Salomon advises UN on human rights impact of economic policy

Pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 34/3 and at the invitation of the UN Independent Expert on the effects of foreign debt on human rights, Dr Salomon will participate in an expert meeting in early November at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to help develop guiding principles on human rights impact assessments of economic reform policies. Dr Salomon has also recently kicked off her research on Legal Rights and the Political Economy of Debt and Austerity in Europe as experienced Marie-Sklodowska Curie Research Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute.
