Join us for a special screening of Professor Jane Humphries’ BBC documentary ‘The Children Who Built Victorian Britain’. Using animation and actual recorded testimony, Jane tells the story of the child workers whose exploitation was key to the success of the Industrial Revolution.
The event starts at 5pm with a reception in the Bean Counter Café (32LIF Building), then moves to 32L LG04 where Jane will give a short talk about the making of the film. The screening starts at 6.30pm prompt and will last one hour, to be followed by a short Q&A session.
