  • A list of suggested preliminary reading for each of our degree programmes can be accessed on the relevant programme page
  • Our Virtual Undergraduate Open Day academic department pages include videos, Q&A sessions, Taster Sessions and links to departmental blogs, podcasts, videos and research highlights.  
  • Our Virtual Undergraduate Offer Holders’ Day pages include departmental information, student support guidance and Q&A sessions. 
  • Research database: Search our database to find out about the research being undertaken at LSE and its impact. Watch videos, read blogs and access case studies.  
  • Our LSE IQ podcast, public lecture recordings and research films can be accessed via our LSE Player.

LSE Library Resources

  • Students aged 16-18 studying a relevant social science topic or subject can request reference access to the LSE Library. The Library can also offer EPQ introductory sessions and on-site visits for students in KS1 up to Sixth Form. Visit the LSE Library page for more information. Please note the LSE Library is currently closed to external visitors.  
  • LSE Digital Library: Includes access to The Women’s Rights Collection and The Brexit Collection.  
  • LSE Library archive: Resources focusing on modern British political and economic history and the development of social science in Britain, including our Charles Booth catalogue.

Life at LSE

Visiting LSE and on-campus activities

There are a range of ways for your students to visit LSE, from campus tours and self-guided tours to Taster Courses and Student Shadowing. We also host two Undergraduate Open Days and an Offer Holders' Day on campus each year.  We also have a variety of online resources including a Virtual Undergraduate Open DayVirtual Offer Holders’ Day, Discovery sessions and other opportunities to experience LSE from home.
