Exam Sub-Board Chairs

For the Department of Statistics

2025-26 Academic Year

Sub-board chairs can authorise deferral requests and extensions to deadlines for summative coursework

Sub-Board Chairs or their nominated deputy can consider extension requests for some types of summative assessment such as for example essays, dissertations, coursework etc.

Alternatively, if you feel you need more time than an extension would allow or the format of assessment does not allow for an extension such as an in person or online exam, you should consider following the deferral procedure which will be considered by the Student Services Centre.
