Sub-board chairs can authorise extensions to deadlines for summative coursework

Sub-Board Chairs or their nominated deputy can consider extension requests for some types of summative assessment such as for example essays, dissertations, coursework etc.

This page lists the contact details for each Sub-Board of Examiners. Please note, if you want to contact the secretaries, you can find their information below:

If you wish to request an extension for summative coursework, please complete the online MS Form and upload any relevant supporting evidence, if applicable. Alternatively, if you feel you need more time than an extension would allow or the format of assessment does not allow for an extension such as an in person or online exam, you should consider following the deferral procedure which will be considered by the Student Services Centre.

Professor Wicher Bergsma is the UG Sub-Board Chair for all UG courses.

Dr Andreas Søjmark is the Sub-Board Chair for MSc Quantitative Methods for Risk Management.

Professor Zoltán Szabó is the Sub-Board Chair for MSc Data Science.

Dr Mona Azadkia is the Sub-Board Chair for MSc Statistics and MSc Statistics (Research).

Professor Tengyao Wang is the Sub-Board Chair for MSc Financial Statistics and MSc Financial Statistics (Research).
