You can contact the Programmes Support Team in the following ways:

Visit the Programmes Support Office

The Programmes Support Office (OLD 2.03) is open weekdays from 10.00am-4.00pm with the exception of Wednesday, when the office is open 12.00pm-4.00pm.

  • The Office will be open during these hours in Term Time .

3/4/26-10/4/26: LSE Closure
LSE, including the Social Policy Programmes Support Office, is closed.
Please note that emails will not be read or responded to during this period.

13/4/26 - 4/5/26
The Programmes Office will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY (10 -4pm).
However, the Programmes Team will continue to be available Monday – Friday via email:

From Tuesday 5th May, Spring Term begins and the Social Policy Programmes Office will revert to term time opening hours (Monday – Friday, 10 -4pm, Wednesdays 12 – 4pm)

Set up a 1-1 Meeting

Most questions can be answered by dropping in to the office during opening hours or via email. However, you may have something confidential to discuss or feel you need to speak to someone in private.

If you wish to organise a meeting with a member of the team, or speak to a member of the team privately, please request this via the email above relevant to your level of study. 
A meeting at a mutually suitable time can then be arranged.


Student Community and Wellbeing Manager – Clare Gorman

Clare’s office is OLD.2.10 and she is usually available on campus on Wednesdays and Thursdays during term-time (12.00 – 16.00 on Wednesdays, 10.00 -16.00 on Thursdays).

She can also be contacted by email to socialpolicy.wellbeing@lse.ac.uk or by booking a meeting to see her via the Student Hub. Search under ‘Clare Gorman’ on the Student Hub to find her availability.

Clare will be unavailable between 2nd April – 15th April inclusive. She will not be contactable during this time via email or in person.

Clare will be contactable again from 16th April onwards via email (Socialpolicy.wellbeing@lse.ac.uk) and will be running her regular meeting slots again from Week 1 of Spring Term (week commencing Tuesday 5th May). You can find details of Support over the Break here.

Out of term & Out of hours support

Please remember that (with the exception of School closure periods), your Programmes Support team are available both during AND out of term time; and services across LSE will remain open to all throughout the year. This includes wellbeing appointments with LSE’s Student Wellbeing Services, study advice and guidance with LSE LIFE, and the Student Services Centre, who can advise you on administrative matters. If you need support during this time, contact 24/7 out of hours mental health support, or find how to access urgent and crisis support here.
