Andrew is an LSE Fellow in Data Science for Public Policy. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining LSE, he conducted research at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and was an Economist in the U.S. Department of Transportation under the Obama administration. He researches factors that affect people's everyday lives in cities (e.g. housing, transportation, education) and the policies that can (hopefully) improve their experiences.
