Simon Hayhoe (LSE): Happy Appy, Study Skills Course for Disabled and Neuro-Diverse Students at the LSE (Revision of Skills and Apps)

26 January 2015, 1:00 pm2:00 pm

Do you have a smart phone, tablet computer, netbook or laptop? Would you like to know how to use them more effectively in lectures, study in the library and possibly get better grades? Would you like to collect a Moodle badge and electronic certificate for your CV?

LSE is running a study skills course for disabled students to be taught in the new academic year starting this October. The course will use technologies you may already be using, such as iPads, Samsung Galaxies iPhones, laptops and netbooks to help you study more easily in the lecture room, the library and at home. The course will take place over four Monday lunchtimes sessions, from 1-2 pm. At the end of each session you will be able to stay for a short software surgery on your own apps and needs until 2.30 pm on the second floor of the Lakatos building, opposite the library – the room will be sign posted on the day.

26th January 2015, 1-2 pm: Revision of Skills and Apps – This session will revise your skills and provide an update on new and forthcoming Apps and software, either in App stores or on the LSE website.
