Yuqing’s research focuses on factor models, latent variable models, and machine learning. He is dedicated to developing new statistical and machine learning methods and theories for social science applications.

Prior to his PhD studies at LSE, he obtained an MSc in Statistics and a BSc in Mathematics from Nanjing University.
