Yingxin is an MRes/PhD candidate in the Department of Management at the LSE.
Yingxin’s research interest is broadly in organisational change, specifically on leadership succession, and how technology is changing the way employees work and organisations perform. She has experience of conducting fieldwork in the manufacturing sector and national surveys on SMEs in China.
She holds master's degrees from the LSE and HKUST, and a bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University. Prior to returning to the LSE for doctorate studies, she worked in private and public sectors in China. She was a business manager at Mars Inc. managing incentive design, digital transformation, and e-commerce. She also worked as an external policy analyst for a local government advising on investment attraction and industrial policies. Most recently, as part of her fieldwork, she worked in a Chinese garment factory overseeing cross-border e-commerce platform trade and AI upskilling programs for employees.
